The chairs and area rugs in shades of green will be complemented by Danish-style light fixtures, light colored wood, and textiles in velvet and macrame. The sleek, minimalist design for the café will be open, light and warm. ![]() Verdant’s dining room, featuring family-style tables alongside round tops, will bring the outdoors in with large interior trees and plants and flow into outdoor seating on the terrace. The café space designed by Morphosis will be located on the museum’s terrace level and provide visitors with a chic and joyful dining experience in a bright and creative setting. In addition to its menu of California cuisine replete with locally sourced, organic ingredients, Verdant will offer gourmet coffees and teas, including ceremonial-grade matcha, and feature a full bar with a carefully curated wine list and craft cocktails. Verdant will seat 75 guests and be open for lunch service six days a week (closed on Mondays).
